What is wholesale nursery software?
It is the system that carries a catalogue changing every week and a different price list for every buyer: live availability by batch, per-customer pricing and discount, orders by trolley or pallet, plant passports on the dispatch paperwork and invoicing at the end. General trade software stops at the product code; here the unit is the batch, with grade, pot size and origin attached.
How do you keep price lists and customer discounts straight?
Prices live in Core, not in the sales team's spreadsheets. A customer price list, a volume break and a rate agreed on a single batch are the same rule written once - the B2B portal, the quote and the invoice all read it, so what is promised and what is invoiced cannot diverge.
Can buyers place their own orders?
Yes, through Aviso: a dedicated portal where each buyer sees live availability, their own prices and the state of their orders, governed by the ordering rules set in Core. Orders arrive structured rather than as emails to re-key.
Do plant passports travel with the goods?
Yes. A/B/C/D fields, EPPO host code and the traceability code come off the batch and onto the label and the paperwork, including batches consolidated onto one trolley. The audit trail is written the moment the load is booked.
What about UK and EU movements after Brexit?
UK, EU and Swiss passport zones are all covered, and the VAT treatment and buyer details follow the same document across a border. Quarantine reporting is produced in the format APHA, NVWA, AGES and their equivalents require.
