For livestock.
Atlas Core does not serve livestock today. But individual-animal lineage and movement records are the same shape of ledger we already keep - with welfare and vet integration as the layers we would have to learn.
Each animal is a cohort of one.
Our batch model already represents lineage, treatments, movements and audit on a single entity. An animal with a tag - dam, birth date, movements between holdings, veterinary events, weight history, slaughter or transfer - is a cohort of one with the same shape.
Movement records (BCMS, AIM, APHIS depending on your jurisdiction), treatment logs, and the audit retention your assurance scheme or inspector needs - already have a home in the ledger.
Animals talk back.
We would need to treat welfare signals and vet integration as first-class - EID readers, automated weigh crates, somatic-cell-count feeds for dairy, activity monitors. We would also need to learn species biology (dairy, beef, sheep, pig cycles) and the commodity-pricing side.
If you run a farm and this fits roughly, start the conversation. We are honest about the gap, and we are interested in closing it with the right partner.
Tell us what you keep.
We will say plainly whether the lineage model reaches far enough.
